We pay special attention to the quality of the pillows & bedding for your comfort, its a calm space from which to enjoy a restful nights sleep and wake to the sunrise.

Bedroom two
With views towards Tibidabo and the mountains behind Barcelona, you’ll enjoy the character of the rooftops and steeples that scatter the skyline. Decorated in a neutral palette with a comfy double bed & quality bedding, full height wardrobes, bedside lighting & night stands, black out shutters its a great space for a good nights sleep.

Bedroom Three
The smallest of the three bedrooms with an interior patio facing window and single bed. Plenty of floor to ceiling storage and hanging space its a great way to keep the room clutter free. Bedside table, lighting and black out curtains ensure a restful nights sleep.

Bathroom
The spacious and light filled fully equipped bathroom has been fully tiled, with a large bath, glass panel and brand new over head shower its a relaxing space with plenty of storage / shelving. A large LED lit mirror, Heated Towel rail, hand basin, new taps & WC.
We provide all our guests with plenty of white 100% cotton towels for your stay and also offer extra cleaning / sheets if required, so you can pack light.

The apartment also offers a steam iron and ironing board for your ease. We can also offer extra cleaning and ironing service for those travelling for work.

All bedding is white 100% Cotton and of 5 star hotel quality. Extra blankets and duvets are provided in the winter months.

If you are travelling with little ones, we also offer all number of baby & toddler items, from a crib to a baby bath, for a small extra fee, just ask us upon booking

About the location

El Raval is a vibrant melting-pot in the grips of a rapid process of gentrification and home to a diverse international community.
Located to the south of La Rambla, before the neighbourhood of Poble Sec and the Avenida Parallel, El Raval’s name derives from the Arabic word ‘rabad’, meaning ‘suburb’. The reason being that during the Middle Ages when Barcelona was a walled city, El Raval was located on the outside of the walls and did not initially form part of the city proper. This is also why the famous Boqueria market is located there, just off La Rambla, as this enabled traders to avoid the tax on merchandise imported into the city.

However, in the last 15 years or so, El Raval has seen tremendous change to its social fabric owing to efforts made by the local council to reduce crime in the area, and the fast-paced gentrification process which ensued. The University of Barcelona opened a new site there and the city’s contemporary art museum, the MACBA, has also become one of El Raval’s most iconic landmarks. Today the local community remains diverse, with large Sikh and Muslim communities as well as a lively scene of artists and alternative culture.
